A coaching clinic for athletes of all abilities up to the Under 17 Age Group

(Minimum age group Under 9) Open to both Little Athletics Members and Non-Members to come n try!

CLINIC FEATURES:

• Two fantastic mornings of coaching at the venue used by Coffs Coast Little Athletics.
• Junior clinics for Under 9 - Under 11 athletes (DOB: 1 Oct 2004—to 30 Sept 2007).
• Senior clinics for Under 12 - Under 17 athletes (DOB: 1 Oct 1998— 30 Sept 2004).
• Qualified, experienced Little Athletics NSW coaches.
• Lots of fun and opportunities for social interaction.
• One or two-day registration options.

DATE: Saturday, 14 & Sunday, 15 November 2015 

TIME: 8.30am - 12.30pm each day

VENUE: Toormina Sports Oval, Toormina Road, Toormina

CLOSING DATE: Sunday, 8 November 2015 at Midnight

COACHES

The clinic will be staffed by qualified, experienced Little Athletics NSW Coaches who are highly skilled in working with the age groups catered for by this event. All coaches have undergone a Working with Children background check.

COACHING SESSIONS: SENIOR ATHLETES

• Coaching will be made available in a range of events, subject to demand.
• Senior clinic athletes are required to pre-select two events for each day of the clinic. (See session selection form)
• Senior athletes will take part in two 75-minute coaching sessions on each day of the clinic plus a Q & A workshop with the coaches.

COACHING SESSIONS: JUNIOR ATHLETES

• Junior clinic athletes will complete a set program of four events on each day.
• Saturday: Sprints (starts), High Jump, Shot Put, Middle Distance
• Sunday: Sprints (technique), Hurdles, Long Jump, Discus
• Each coaching session will last 40 minutes.

Cancellations: A $10 administration fee applies for any athlete who withdraws prior to the closing date. There is no refund of monies for any athlete who withdraws after the closing date. As of the closing date all coaches are confirmed based on the number of registrations received.
