Take on other students from around the country on these awesome and challenging course to win the Toughest School Trophy!

The Secondary School Tough Guy and Gal Challenge will take place in Auckland, Hawke's Bay, Wellington and Rotorua. All four venues have been approved by NZQA for both level 2 and level 3 so students can gain Achievement Standard credits.

Event Timetable
For Wellington, Rotorua, Auckland Thursday early start and Auckland Friday events
8.30am – 9.30am: Registration
10.00am: Start of the 12km event
10.10am: Start of the 6km event
12.45pm: Prize-giving

For Auckland Thursday late start
10.30am – 11.30am: Registration
12.00pm: Start of the 12km event
12.10pm: Start of the 6km event
2.45pm: Prize-giving

For Hawke’s Bay event
8.30am – 10.30am: Registration
11.00am: Start of the 12km event
11.10am: Start of the 6km event
1.45pm: Prize-giving

Entry Fee 
$45 per person. This is a special rate for schools that is only available for the Secondary School Challenges!! Must be a current student of the school or a teacher/parent helper. 

This fee will go up to $60 per person prior to two weeks before each event.

Refunds
A full refund can be obtained for any withdrawals up until 3 weeks prior to each event.
A $10.00 administration fee will apply to all refunds within 3 weeks of each event.
No refunds will be given to any ‘no shows’ at events where organisers were not informed of the withdrawal prior to the event day.
In a case of natural disaster, entry fees will not be refunded
