NU-GEN Junior events are being conducted at the Devonport, Burnie & Hobart carnivals in season 2016/17.

Devonport (29th & 30th Dec.) - 200m, 400m & 1600m. (see the 'Handicapping/Carnival Marks' tab for carnival schedules) 

Burnie (1st Jan.) - 120m, 400m & 1600m. (see the 'Handicapping/Carnival Marks' tab for carnival schedules)

Hobart (8th Jan.) - 100m, 300m & 800m. 

Important information 

1. Open to boys & girls aged 10-16 years inclusive as at race day
2. Events will be conducted for Under 14’s and Under 17’s
3. Novice TAL registered athletes are eligible to enter
4. Events will be handicapped with participation and fun as priorities
5. Entry fee is $5.00 per event
6. Entrants not registered with Athletics Tas., TAL or Little Athletics clubs will be required to pay a $10.00 registration fee which will cover insurance for the three carnivals
7. Instructions/timetable will be emailed to entrants prior to the carnivals
8. All participants will receive a commemorative medallion
9. Prizes will be given to placegetters in each event
