Event Date: Sunday 20th August 2017

Host Club: North Western Sydney CC

Ride Briefing: 6:30am (riders must be in attendance)

Ride Departs: 6:40am 

Start Location: The Ettamogah Pub, Cnr Merrivelle Road & Windsor Road, Kellyville Ridge, NSW 2155

Finish Location: The Ettamogah Pub, Cnr Merrivelle Road & Windsor Road, Kellyville Ridge, NSW 2155

Course Description:

  • Roll out towards Richmond and up to Kurrajong. We will then keep going across Blaxland Ridge and down to the Hawkesbury River, through Windosr & back to "The Ettamogah"
  • If time permits there may be a coffee stop along the way, otherwise we there will be time to enjoy a coffee at "The Ettamogah"

Entrant Limit: 45 Max

Please note due to the limited spots and the large interest shown for the event, entrants are accepted on a first come basis. So get your entry in fast. If you miss the cut for the ride please contact Cycling NSW Office (02) 9738 5850 or email to register your name on the reserve list.

Closing Date: Friday 18th August 2017 (or unless entrant limit is reached)

Additional Information:

  • A reasonable level of fitness will be required. It is a beautiful ride, but it will stand up as a challenge!
  • Group will be split into 2-3 groups (depending on numbers)
  • 2 SAG wagons will follow the ride
  • 6 Ride leaders will direct the ride and provide any assistance required.
  • Riders are to arrive by 6:30am for Ride Briefing
  • Riders are required to have bunch riding experience.
  • There will be a toilet stop and an opportunity to top up water
  • Riders are to have breakfast before arriving

Measures in Place if event is postponed:

  • Ride will be cancelled if it rains
  • Postponements Notice: Notice will be placed on the Women's Cycling Facebook Page
  • Club will set up a Facebook Group (TBC) with the course and will also use to notify if event is cancelled

What to Bring:

  • 2 Water Bottles
  • Snacks
  • Spare Tube / Pump
  • Jacket - Rain or Wind
  • Flashing Light - front and rear
  • Cash for snacks, coffee etc.
