MBSLSC Winter Pool Lifesaving Training

Are you keen to develop your pool lifesaving skills and/or interested in competing in Pool Lifesaving Competitions?

MBSLSC will be running a 18 week pool lifesaving training program on Sunday afternoons, commencing Sunday 11 June and concluding Sunday 8 October. Further details are as follows:

When: Sunday's 12-2pm (see schedule further below)

Where: National Aquatic Centre 

Who: Juniors (10 years or older as at 1 October 2017), Seniors, Masters

Cost: Term 3: 9 weeks (incl holidays) $60. Single sessions $10 cash at the pool

Gear required: fins

TERM 3 SCHEDULE:

Juniors: 12-1pm;

Seniors: 1-2pm (except 30 July: 11am-12pm);

3 September & 24 September:

• No training: SLSNR & SLSER Pool Champs

The sessions will be built around developing skills using bricks, fins, manikins and obstacles for the following pool lifesaving competitions:

SLSNR Interclub 1 (seniors): 29 July - National Aquatic Centre, Auckland

SLSNR Interclub 2 (seniors): 12 August - National Aquatic Centre, Auckland

Northern Region Pool Champs: 2-3 September - National Aquatic Centre, Auckland

Eastern Region Pool Champs: 23-24 September - Te Rapa Pool, Hamilton

National Pool Champs: 13-15 October - National Aquatic Centre, Auckland

MBSLSC will be utilising the expertise of a number of experienced individuals including National coaches and World Champions.
