The Nepean Cup - Pairs Handicap Tournament

The Nepean Cup - Pairs Handicap Tournament

This is an Archery Australia (AA) Registered Tournament.

The Nepean Cup is a pairs tournament with handicap scoring. This means that everyone has an equal chance of winning, regardless of age, gender or equipment or round shot. Archers must enter as a member of a pair - mixed age, gender and/or bow type pairs are encouraged. As this is a handicap event, everyone is placed on an "even field" and for this reason, there will be no age divisions.

Prizes will be awarded to the top five placed pairs.

Rounds to be shot:

1200 rounds: Adelaide or (optionally for cubs, intermediates and cadets ONLY) a Short Adelaide.

Handicapping:

In order to ensure that entrants are accurately and fairly handicapped (using current Archer's Diary outdoor ratings), all entrants nust have at least five outdoor target ratings on Archer's Diary. These rating scores can be obtained in any event scored on Archer's Diary, including club shoots.

Because handicaps need to be finalised BEFORE the tournament, there will be ABSOULTELY NO LATE ENTRIES - online entries only.

After entries have closed, NO CHANGES WILL BE ALLOWED to either the round to be shot, equipment (bow type) or nominated pairs. Archers who wish to compete with a random stranger may enter and be assigned a "Luck Dip" partner.
