SVTA - Beginners Course July 2018

Target Archery is an excellent sport for people with a range of abilities and is a great family sport that can be enjoyed together.
The course is run on Saturday morning from 08.00 to 11.30 at Samford Valley Target Archers, please turn up at 07.45 for registration and equipment allocation.

  • The club is very welcoming of people who use wheel chairs or have a disability, however please contact us before booking into a beginners course as we may have to arrange coaches with relevant experience

  • The club is located at Samford, 2204 Mount Samson Rd (Samford to Dayboro road) which is about 500 m north of the Samford Village.
  • Please be aware that there is a no refund policy for cancellation or no shows
  • All participants should be 10 years of age or over
  • Participants must wear fully enclosed shoes, tie long hair back and remove ear/nose/lip rings etc

Following the course you may apply to join the club where you will attend an initial induction and further training session. Ongoing training is available free of charge most Saturday mornings by undertaking the OzBow self-paced development program.

Multiple participants?

If you wish to enter multiple participants for the course (family entry) please review the confirmed entrants list at the top of page to ensure there are enough places available for this course, each course is limted to a maximum of 18 people.



Participant Form

Please complete and sign the Temporary Membership form available on the web site, which should be brought with you on the first day to speed up registration. However we will have spare forms available at the club. If under 18 please have a parent or guardian sign the form.
