2017 SYDNEY X-MAS CARNIVALS

Entry Fee: $150 (all 5 days)

On the Day Entry Fee : $35 per day

Closing Date: Thursday 21st December 2017

Start Times: the below times apply for every day except Day 5 Sunday 31^st, which will be 2:00pm to get ready for NYE. 

• Sign-on - 5:00pm
• First Race - 6:00pm

Race Schedule: A-D grade in Men and A-C in Women (pending numbers)

Each day may vary however, will follow similar format:

• Round 1 Warm Up Scratch
• Round 2 Graded Wheel-race
• Round 3 Sprint event (chosen by host club)
• Round 4 Endurance event (chosen by host club)
• Round 5 Feature Race + Park Bikes Madison series

Prize Money: $6,000 cash and Prizes

Please note: If it rains the event moves to Dunc Gray Velodrome which means guaranteed racing every day.

AGE CATEGORIES & ELIGIBILITY

• JM17, JW17, JM19, JW19, Elite Men, Elite Women, Masters Men, Masters Women
• Age Categories for this event are as per 2018 ages effective from 1st October 2017.
• Financial Cycling Australia RACE members only, valid membership card must be presented at sign-on.
• This event is not open to Day Memberships, 3 Race Permits or Regional memberships.

Please note: a Junior Sydney X-mas Carnival will run prior to Day 1 to Day 4  (click here for entry)

GENERAL INFORMATION

• This is the 10th year running for the Sydney Xmas Carnivals. The carnivals are always great way to cap of the year of cycling as Sydney's premier clubs work alongside Raw Track promotions to bring you a truely festive cycling experience.
• There will be kiosks set up at each carnival serving the usual refreshments.
• Changerooms and toilets will be accessible at all venues. Please be sure to make use of these ammenities as anyone found changing in public could be subject to fines from race officials.
• Ample parking is available on-site at all venues.
• Be sure to bring a picnic rug and chairs and make yourself comfortable for some long and enjoyable days of track racing.
• Results will be available online at www.rawtrack.com.au
• Presentations will take place at the conclusion of Day 5.
• Handlers will be charged an entry fee on Day 2 at Tempe.
