2018 Para and VI Championships

Entries

  • All entries are to be made online.
    • Credit card or PayPal facilities will be available with online entries.
    • You will receive a confirmation email that your payment has been received.
    • If you do not receive the email, your entry is NOT confirmed.
  • Proof of Archery Australia or Alliance equivalent membership will be required at time of Registration and Sign In.
  • Online entries close 12:00PM Friday, 3rd March 2018.
  • No entries will be accepted after the 3rd March 2018.
  • Entry in the National Para / VI championship also includes entry to the Tuggeranong Para / VI Indoor Championship, which is being held in conjunction.

Forms

  • All competitors must complete the Entry Form together with the Archery Australia Photographic Media Consent Form (link below) and forward them with the appropriate Entry Fees.
  • Youth competitors who will not have an accompanying parent/guardian must complete an Archery Australia Parent/Guardian Consent Form (link below) and either supply it to their Team Manager or to the Organising Committee by or at registration.
  • Parents must comply with the Archery Australia Accompanying Parent Policy (Form link below)
  • Junior competitors who will not have an accompanying parent/guardian must complete an Archery Australia Parent/Guardian Consent Form and either supply it to their Team Manager or to the Organising Committee by or at registration.

Vision Impaired Classifications

Round: WA 720 Rounds

  • Para Compound - 50m (80cm, 6 ring)
  • Para Recurve - 70m (122cm)
  • VI - 30m (80cm)

Accomodation

  • It is the competitor’s responsibility to arrange and pay for accommodation and meals.

Appeals

  • A $50 Appeal Fee applies and is required to be paid on the lodgement of each appeal. If the appeal is successful, the fee will be refunded. If the appeal is unsuccessful, the fee will be retained by the Organising Committee or refunded at its discretion.

Dress Regulations

  • Competitors are required to be neatly dressed in club, RGB, National or other approved uniform.
  • Closed footwear, shoes or boots. must be worn at all times.

Special Conditions

  • This event is an ONLINE ENTRY event! Applicants paying by other than online will only be processed after their payment has been cleared.
  • ALL classifications must have the correct ‘documentation’ as per World Para Archery Rules & Regulations. Paperwork covering your specific classification must be carried at all times
    • – you will be asked to present this during the competition.
  • ALL vision impaired classifications MUST be completed on the appropriate form. The completed form or an international classification from World Para Archery is to be forwarded to:
    • paraarchery@archery.org.au at least one week before the start of the championships.
  • ALL B1, B2 & B3 archers MUST use a tactile device at all times during the championships. Only archers under the B1, B2 & B3 (V.I.1m V.I.2, V.I.3) classifications are eligible for:
    • selection to any Australian Vision Impaired team competing under World Para Archery rules.
  • Medals shall be allocated on the total score of each day.
  • Membership Cards will need to be presented at registration.

Special Needs

  • Please be aware that Tuggeranong Archery Club does not provide any food specific to dietary needs. You will need to provide your own lunch and/or snacks etc.
  • Snack and drinks will be available from the canteen.

Medals

  • Medals will be awarded in accordance with Archery Australia and/or World Para Archery Rules.
