Northern NSW Interclub League
Please note:
This event is restricted to members of Newcastle City Archers, Cessnock Target Archers, Armidale Archers, Frog Hollow, Westlakes Archers, Coast Archers and Erina Archery Club.
This is the entry payment system only. For each of the event days listed below you will need to separately enter the event on Archers Diary
DATE:
The event is a handicap internet "mail" shoot to be shot monthly as per the schedule below. For details of the day of the shoot at your club, contact your club secretary. The dates below are for Newcastle only:
July 2018 - Any shooting day;
August 2018 - Any shooting day;
23 September 2018 - Clout at Cessnock Target Archers @ 8.30 am;
21 October 2018 - 24 Target Marked WA Field at Westlakes Archers @ 8.30am (or Armidale Archers on a date to be confirmed);
November 2018 - Any shooting day;
December 2018 - to be confirmed;
LOCATION:
July 2018 - Your Club;
August 2018 - Your Club;
September 2018 - Cessnock Archery Club on 30 September 2018 (Practice day on 26 August 2018);
October 2018 - Westlakes Archers (Fassifern) (or Armidale Archers dates to be confirmed);
November 2018 - Your Club;
December 2018 - Club and date to be confirmed;

ENTRY FEE:
There is a single entry fee of $12.60 for the league and the fee is payable by credit card at the end of the registration process. This fee, or any part of this fee, is not refundable in the event you do not attend some or all of the events.
You can join the league after the commencement date and depending on when you join the fee is reduced by $2.10 for each event you have missed since commencement.
DIVISIONS
You must shoot in a bow type division and stay in that division for the duration of the event - Longbow, Recurve, Barebow Recurve, Compound, Barebow Compound or Crossbow. Changing bow type between each shoot in the league is not permitted.

CLOSING DATE:
There is no closing date and you may elect to join in the tournament at any time up until the day before the last event in December 2018.
EVENT MANAGEMENT:
- A Qualified club official or judge and the club recorder are the key people for each club on the day of the shoot.
- Only the clubs associated with the Central Coast and Hunter Region Inter-Club are eligible to compete.
- No scoring archer can compete alone.
- Shoots must be timed according to WA/AA rules.
- Archers can only enter once per league monthly event
SCORING:
- All scores to be recorded using a recognised computer-based scoring system, (e.g.) Archers Diary etc and an AA paper score-sheet.
- Archery Australia certified score-sheets are to be used.
- The paper score sheet has precedence over the computer-based system if scores do not correlate.
- The club official is to sign off the score-sheets at the completion of the event.
- Any score sheet that is incomplete, not clearly marked, or not signed or certified, shall be rejected by the conducting body.
- All score sheets shall be retained by each club for 18 months.
HANDICAPED EVENT
The event is a handicap event using the Coast Archers weighted handicapping system
New archers who don’t have a handicap will need to shoot 3 events recorded on archers diary prior to the series to obtain a handicap.
RULES
All tournaments in the league are to be conducted using World Archery and Archery Australia rules.
PRIZES
A prize structure is still being developed and will be adapted to the profile of the entries. At present the following is likely:
- First Prize: The highest handicap score.
- Second Prize: The second highest handicap score.
- Third Prize: The third highest handicap score.
- Prize: The best handicap score Recurve: counting X’s 10’s 9’s male and female
- Prize: The best handicap score Compound: counting X’s 10’s 9’s
- The best handicap scores unsighted bows with a finger release: counting X’s 10’s 9’s
- The best junior handicap scores any bow: counting the X’s 10’s 9’s, male or female.
