Course Description:

This ride is a moderate ride on a mix of roads and plenty of bike paths. We head north from Concord West heading across the river and take in some on-road hills in Eastwood, Denistone, Carlingford and North Rocks in the early part of the ride. We're then rewarded with a sweeping down hill into North Parramatta where we'll join the bike path that follows Old Windsor Road. We follow Old Windsor Road until we reach the northern end of the M7 bike path and head south from there. The M7 bike path is a safe, continuous bike path that follows the M7 motorway for its entire length, and we follow it south until heading east into the Western Sydney Parklands. Our return journey takes us past Prospect Reservoir where we'll stop for a brief break before heading home on another bike path that follows the Prospect water pipes, then M4 motorway. To finish off we'll visit the LACC heartland of Sydney Olympic Park, returning to Three Spoons Cafe for coffee and brunch. There is just over 1,000 metres of climbing but it's still a very moderate."

Measures in Place if event is postponed - updated 12/10/2018

Please note the ride organisers will assess the weather on Saturday evening and if it's obviously going to rain on Sunday morning the ride will be cancelled.
If it’s harder to determine a decision will be made early on Sunday and will issue a cancellation notice by 5.45 am. This will appear on the Cycling NSW - Women’s and LACC Women’s Squad Facebook pages
Either way it will be cancelled if there’s a significant amount of rain.
