STATE INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 March 2019

Domain Athletics Centre, Hobart

Qualifying conditions for participation in the 2019 LATas State Individual Championships are:

• All athletes must be registered with Little Athletics Tasmania to compete.

• Athletes MUST have earned their 25 Participation Award by closing date, and this MUST be displayed on competition top.

• To enter any event at a State Championships an athlete must have competed in the event at least twice in the current season prior to the close of entries.

• Under 8 – Under 13 athletes can only enter the events in which they have qualified TWICE at any CENTRE or STATE MEETING from the start of the season to the closing date. An athlete that has only one qualifying performance may apply for a supplementary entry provided they have competed in that event at least twice in the current season.

• Under 14 and Under 15 athletes do not require Qualifying performances to enter State Championships but must have competed in an event at least twice in the current season prior to the closing date of entries to be eligible to enter that event.

• All Under 8 – Under 15 athletes enter INDIVIDUALLY and must include $10.00 per event.  Please note, payment for supplementary applications are not payable on application but will be payable if the athlete is successful in their supplementary request.

• Entries close on Tuesday, 12 February 2019 at 12 noon. No late entries will be accepted. Entries must be completed via the online entry portal.  A confirmation email will be automatically generated once entries are complete.  If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact the Little Athletics Tasmania Office on 1300 888 713 prior to the close of entries.  

• LATas Cloth badge along with all sponsor badges and name badge MUST be displayed as illustrated in the LATas Badge Placement Guide, located on page 8 of the Information Manual.

• Failure to have correct uniform may lead to disqualification of athlete. CLUB UNIFORM MUST BE WORN.
