Multi-Class events for athletes with a disability will be on offer again this year at our LAVic State Track & Field 2019
This year athletes will receive an official placing and be eligible for medals
Age Group Bracket
Athletes will compete within the following age groups for the purposes of awarding medals;
U9 – 12 Boys
U9 – 12 Girls
U13 – 16 Boys
U13 – 16 Girls
Events
100m, 800m, Long Jump, Shot Put
Draft times for Multi-Class Events are; Saturday 16th March 2019
Long Jump – 9:00am
100m – 11:00am
Shot Put – 12:30pm
800m – 2:45pm
*Please note times are subject to change and will be confirmed after the close of entries
Entry Fee
$5 per event
Athletes may enter directly for the event and there will be no qualifying event.
Athletes must be within the LAVic U9 – 16 age groups & an LAVic registered member.
Entries close Monday March 4th, 11.59pm
Classification
Multi-Class Athletes must hold a provisional or full classification prior to competing in the event. Classification is a way of grouping athletes of similar function or ability for the purpose of competition. More information regarding classification is through Athletics Australia - www.athletics.com.au/Para-athletics#GetClassified

Results and Ranking
All events will be conducted as multi-disability events. Competitors will compete against a Multi-Disability Standard (MDS) table as determined by the Australian Paralympic Committee and Athletics Australia. Placing’s will be determined by the competitors time/distance calculated against a percentage of the MDS.
Awards
The top three place getters in each age group bracket and each event will receive a medal.
