2019 PATH March/April 2019

 

The Post Christmas U18 Path Programme is open for registrations, please pass this on to your hockey players.

 

PATH Development

Poverty Bay Hockey's Pre-Season programme is a once a week performance development programme run over a 6 week period.

PBH have branded this programme PATH (Promoting Athletic Talent in Hockey).

The programme will be designed to assist athletes improve their technical and tactical hockey skills for the betterment of their 2019 hockey season. 

The programme will be delivered by a variety of coaches both within and external to Poverty Bay (when available) and include components of Central Hockey’s high performance plan and include many techniques, focus areas and drills.

The programme will also provide athletes the opportunity to improve their fitness through dedicated fitness plans.


PATH Development - Skills
• Open to U18 players – With an Invitation to - U15 PB Rep players from 2018
• Mondays Turf time - 5pm-6.30pm
• Dates: March 18th - April 22nd
• Please note: First session starts 5pm Monday 18th March 2019


PATH - Fitness
PATH Fitness will be run slightly differently this year.  An assigned fitness plan will be given to participants, which they will work through in their own time, gym work will be included (as yet tbc but with an option to train at the Paikea gym once a week)

We will also include at least one Umpiring session during the programme.

PATH - Registration
Registrations close Monday 11th March 2019

You will be sent an 'invoice' from the registration programme, this is confirmation of your registration only.  PBH will send a PBH Invoice once registrations close.

Previous Path invoices must be paid before acceptance into this PATH programme.
