MBSLSC Winter Pool Lifesaving Training

Are you keen to develop your pool lifesaving skills and/or interested in competing in Pool Lifesaving Competitions?

MBSLSC will be running a pool lifesaving training program on Sunday afternoons, commencing Sunday 9 June 2019 and concluding Sunday 6 October. Further details are as below. When: Sunday's 12-2pm (see schedule further below)

Where: National Aquatic Centre at AUT Millennium

Who: Current Registered Juniors (10 years or older as at 1 October 2019), Seniors, Masters

Gear required: fins

TERM 2:

Dates: 9 June - 21 July 

Juniors: 12-1pm

Seniors/Masters: 1-2pm

Cost: $40 (7 weeks) or $10 cash payable at the pool for single sessions

TERM 3:

Dates: 28 July - 6 October (no training on 1 Sept - NRC, or 29 September - level 2 meet at the pool)

Juniors: 12-1pm

Seniors/Masters: 1-2pm

Cost: $50 (9 weeks) or $10 cash payable at the pool for single sessions

The sessions will be built around developing skills using bricks, fins, manikins and obstacles for the following pool lifesaving competitions:

SLSNR Interclub 1 (seniors): 3 August - National Aquatic Centre, Auckland

SLSNR Interclub 2 (seniors): 17 August - National Aquatic Centre, Auckland

Mairangi Bay Club Champs (all): 10 August - National Aquatic Centre, Auckland

Northern Region Pool Champs: 31 August -1 September - National Aquatic Centre, Auckland

Eastern Region Pool Champs: 21- 22 September - Baywave, Mt Maunganui

National Pool Champs: 11-13 October - National Aquatic Centre, Auckland

MBSLSC will be utilising the expertise of a number of experienced individuals including National coaches and World Champions.
