SHOOT: DOUBLE TEN-RING SCORING CLOUT RULES: AA Shooting Rules will apply.

When: Sunday 6th October 2019

WHERE: Northern Archers of Sydney, Pennant Hills Park

TIME: Registration: From 7.30 am - Bow inspection 8.30am Shooting commences: 09.00 am

FEE: $40.00 Open +,  $30.00 Juniors (U20 & below) 

CLOSING DATE: Entries close via online registration 8 PM Wednesday 2nd October 2019

Late entries may be accepted, please email the Secretary at "northernarchersofsyd@gmail.com". No responsibility will be taken for late entries not handled this way. Do not call other Northern Archers members.


Refund of entry fee only, if notice of withdrawal from the shoot is received prior to the closing date. Please note that there is space on the shooting line for approx. 100 archers and space will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

2019 Age Divisions

Cubs - Athletes born in the year 2006 or since 2006
An athlete may compete in the Cub class in tournaments until December 31 of the year of his or her 13th birthday.

Intermediate - Athletes born in the years 2005 or 2005
An athlete may compete in the Intermediate class in tournaments until December 31 of the year of his or her 15th birthday.

Cadets - Athletes born in the years 2002 or 2003
An athlete may compete in the Cadet class in tournaments until December 31 of the year of his or her 17th birthday.

20 and Under (Junior) - Athletes born in the years 2001, 2000 or 1999
An athlete may compete in the Junior class in tournaments until December 31 of the year of his or her 20th birthday.

Open   - Athletes born in 1970 to 1998 inclusive

An athlete of any age may compete in the Open class in tournaments, but those born in the above years have no alternative.

Masters - Athletes born in the years 1960 to 1969
An athlete may compete in the Master class in tournaments from January 1 of the year of his or her 50th birthday and thereafter.

Veterans – Athletes born in 1950 or prior to 1960
An athlete may compete in the Veteran class in tournaments from January 1 of the year of his or her 60th birthday and thereafter.

Veterans Plus – Athletes born in or after 1949
An athlete may compete in the Veteran class in tournaments from January 1 of the year of his or her 70th birthday and thereafter.

NOTE:

Anyone can only shoot Open
Veterans can shoot as Veteran, Master, or Open
Veteran Plus can shoot as Veteran Plus, Veteran, Master or Open
Master can shot as Master or Open
20 and Under can shoot as 20 and Under or Open
Cadets can shoot as Cadet or 20 and Under (Junior)
Intermediates can shoot as Intermediate, Cadet or 20 and Under (Junior)
Cubs can shoot as Cub, Intermediate, Cadet or 20 and Under (Junior)

Clubs and RGBs may develop younger or older age divisions to cater for their own needs. The age divisions above are the only age divisions recognised for Archery Australia Tournaments, National Records and National and Youth National Championships.

 

 Bow Types

 Compound, Recurve, Longbow, Barebow Compound, Barebow Recurve

 

AWARDS: Medals will be presented at the conclusion of the shoot and ANSW Rules will apply. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd, regardless of number of competitors in a division.


LUNCH/FOOD: Tea and Coffee – free, Cold drinks, hot food will be on sale at lunch time. When registering please provide information regarding whether lunch will be required and for how many. This will be burgers and/or sausages, rolls and salad. Afternoon tea during presentations will be provided.

DRESS: Neat, clean well-presented casual clothing must be worn at all times. It may be of any colour or style with a preference for white. Club, state or national uniforms may also be worn.

 


PRACTICE IS ESSENTIAL FOR SAFETY
It is crucial that all archers entering this tournament have correct sight settings for the division they are entering. If you can’t check your setup and practice at your club then you are more than welcome to join us at Northern Archers at our range in Pennant Hills Park, Britannia Street, Pennant Hills.
