* State relays are available for those teams who progress or qualify as part of the LAVic rules

During registration we require you to indicate your intention to compete in the Mentone Relay Day

COMPETITION DATES

Mentone Relay Day - Sunday 10th November 2019, Bricker Reserve, 105-117 Rowans Rd, Moorabbin

Regional Relay Championships - Saturday 23rd November 2019, Ross Reserve, Memorial Drive, Noble Park

State Relay Championships - Saturday 14th December 2019, Casey Fields, 160 Berwick-Cranbourne Rd, Cranbourne East

RELAY EVENTS

4x100m, 4x200m, Medley Relay - Consisting of 2x100m, 1x200m and 1x400m

TRAINING DATES

Training starts Wednesday 16th October between 6.00pm-7.30pm and runs every week leading up to the Regional Relays. U9-U11 6.00pm-6.45pm and U12-U16 will be 6.45pm-7.30pm. Teams progressing to State Championships will continue to train every Wednesday finishing on 11th December

PARTICIPATION

By registering for the Sandringham Relay Teams you are committing yourself to be avaiable for at least 80% of all training days and to be in attendance to compete in the events you are selected to compete in at both the Regional & State Championship events. Particiaption in Mentone Relay Day is optional. If you prefer not to be placed in a Mixed Gender or Age team please indicate as part of the registration process, this may however effect the Relay Sub-Committee's ability to place you in a relay team depending upon Age Group numbers.

PARENT DUTY

Parents, relays is a volunteer run event.  Sandringham will be allocated parent duties for Regional and State events. As a Sandringham Parent you will be required to fulfill a duty. If you cannot assist in completing these duties please DO NOT register your child to compete.
