Fast Track Squad

Athletes born between 1^st January 2007 – 31^st December 2007 who are eligible for the Tasmanian U13 State Team are invited to apply for selection to participate in the “Fast Track” Sprints & Relays squad for the 2019 - 2020 season.

This is a great opportunity to really improve your athletic skills and have a great time doing it!

The squad is designed to provide quality coaching and active participation in athletics. A particular focus will be relays and baton changing. Our aim is to have most of our team at ALACs 2020 in Canberra well versed in relays so we maximise our result and points in the 4x100m relay at that event.

The first training sessions will be at the Centre Challenge meets in November, with 3 more sessions through the season, one of which will be at the U12 & U13 coaching camp at Port Sorell, 5 - 11 January 2020.

Cost:                  $55 payable on acceptance to the Fast Track Squad.  This covers incidental expenses and a personalised “Fast Track” top.  

Vacancies:          20 – 24 athletes will be invited from around the state. (qualifying standards and selection criteria will apply).
