Introduction to Archery Course

 

2020 Dates

The Introduction to Archery Courses are usually set for a day of the first Sunday of each month., but none scheduled for May & June due to Club/State events. There will be 2 introduction courses held in April 5th & 26th and 2 Saturday courses set for the 4th July and the 5th September. 

Jan.5th, Feb 2nd, Mar 1st, April 5th & 26th,July 4th, August 2nd, Sept. 5th, Oct 4th, Nov 1st, Dec 6th.

Should weather affect any of these dates please attend the next month's course.

On payment and completion of a Temporary Membership Form you will be entitled to attend the club for a period of 1 month from the date of the course. After this date full membership to the club through the Archery Australia website is mandatory. 

NOTE: Courses are limited to 10 places. Once a course is full, no further entries can be done online for that date and you will need to wait for next month's enrollment. No refunds for failure to attend unless arrangements are made prior to the course date.

You will need to be at the club no later then 7:45am on the date of the course you have entered so that you may be fitted with safety gear and equipment.

"Get Started" vouchers are NOT applicable for this course.

Qld Gov. "Get Started" vouchers are now available through:https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/sports/funding/getinthegame/getstarted/

A single "Get Started" voucher will entitle the bearer to one year membership to Archery Australia/North Queensland Archery Association/Townsville Target Archers with two consecutive weeks following the course to free use of club equipment.

$50 Per Person

  • Hat
  • Closed in shoes
  • Sunscreen
  • Water
  • Fitted sleeved shirt (no loose/baggy shirts/singlets, as this will interfere with your shooting)

    Please Note:  Parents or Guardians of children must remain in attendance for the
    duration of the activity
