Little Athletics NSW is seeking accredited coaches to work within the Little Athletics Program for Schools (LAPS).

What is LAPS?

LAPS coaching involves conducting practical athletics sessions for classes of school children during school hours. Most LAPS sessions are conducted at primary schools.

A typical LAPS coaching session will last between 30-60 minutes and involve a class of up to thirty students. Multiple sessions may be conducted at a school throughout a day. The minimum requirements are:

  • A working with children check number for paid work
  • A drivers licence and access to a car

Payment for LAPS coaching begins at $30 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours.

An amount for travel expenses is also included where relevant.
