NR Junior Interclub Carnival #2 Ruakaka 2021

  Northern Region Junior Interclub Carnival #2

Saturday 9th January 2021 - Ruakaka Beach

 

The second Northern Region Junior Surf inter-club carnival for the 2020-21 season will be held at Ruakaka on Saturday 9th January 2021. This is a participation carnival. Finals will not be run.

 

WAIPU TRAINING CAMP 6 - 8th January

RUAKAKA CARNIVAL 9th January at Ruakaka Beach

 

Payment can be made online using the "submit and pay" option when you register.

Events include:

Mixed Beach Relays, Flags

Unbadged Events: Run Wade Run, Boogie Board Race, Boogie Board Relay 

Badged Events: Run Swim Run, Board Race, Mixed Board Relay, Mixed 2 Person Diamond

(non-badged A groupers will replace Swim with Wade & Board events will be on boogie boards)

Individual events: all athletes will be entered in every event they are eligible for.  They can scratch on the day if required.

Entry fee: $30.00              Club Entries Close: 20th December 2020 - 10pm

NB: No late entries permitted and no refunds given.

Essential equipment – club togs, club beanie and competition vest. (Pink or Green) Please NO JDS vests.

If you do not already have these please purchase at Swim T3 Albany.

The final programme will be influenced by the weather conditions of the day. The Event Management Committee may alter competition courses in order to address safety or to account for tidal, sea and beach condition changes. As far as possible they will undertake to provide all participants with fair and equal conditions.

  

WAIPU TRAINING CAMP information

6 - 8 January: Assemble and sign in at Waipu Cove Surf Club:

Essential equipment – club togs, club beanie and competition vest. (Pink or Green)  Please NO JDS vests

These sessions will be mainly in the sea getting use to the different conditions.

9.15am sign in (training from 9.30am for 1.5 – 2 hours)

1.45pm sign in (training from 2pm for 1.5 – 2 hours)


Assistance required with coaching/managing/water safety.  No charge for training.

We need lifeguards and officials from our club to support the event, please indicate on the entry where you can assist.
