Try Archery Sunday 28/2/2021 - 8:30 am Session - COVID Safe - 8 Person Max

Learn to use a Bow safely under the direction of trained and experienced instructors.

Suitable for everyone, ages 8+.

The “Try Archery” course is a prerequisite to be able to shoot on the Troy Adams Archery Field.

Objective:

Introduce people to archery in a safe way

  • An overview of archery
  • An overview of club membership and next steps
  • Basic Safety
  • Practice 60 arrows – target
  • if available Practice 12 arrows Clout 
ENTRY LIMIT:

LOCATION:
Werrington Road, Werrington 2747 - Enter via Colonial Golf course
*** Please observe the 10 km/hr speed limit ***
 
TIME:
8:15 am Registration
8:30 am Commencement of Basic Training
9:30 am (aprox.) Course completion.
 
COST: $25.00 (This fee includes a temporary membership that only needs to be "renewed" should you choose to join the club)
 
ARCHERY SAFETY:
Your SAFETY is our top priority. For this reason, no open toed footwear is allowed. Long hair should be tied back and you should avoid wearing loose clothing that could interfere with the safe use of a bow. Remember to bring sunscreen, hat and water as there is no shelter on archery fields! Always watch where you are walking and never run.

DRESS: Neat casual, no thongs or open-toed shoes allowed.
