MBSLSC has a long term arrangement with the Millennium Institute of Sport & Health to have pool lanes available for MBSLSC members only. We provide a top-notch swim program for the development of our members. Our Swim Squad covers all formats of swimming coaching, from pool to surf and is aimed at members that can already swim and are looking for extra training.

All those attending swim squad should already be able to swim 200m quite ccomfortably within 4 minutes.

The vision for the Mairangi Bay Swim Squad is to create a culture and team environment for both Junior and Seniors having camaraderie and fun in the pool. The squad will have a structured plan and a competitive build up towards targeted pool champs and surf season.
We are lucky to have Sam, Nikki & Jared coach our sessions this term. With their combined experience in both Club Swimming and Surf Lifesaving they'll create a programme, which will give the swimmers techniques and skills to improve both pool and surf swimming in all aspects of their stroke.

Term 3 2021 Swim Squad @ AUT Millennium commencing 26th July up to & including 29th September 2021

Mondays 7:30pm - 8:30pm evening

Tuesday 6:30pm - 7:30pm evening 

Wednesday 6:30pm - 7:30pm evening

Juniors (B 10 -11 yrs & C Group 12 -13 yrs) will benefit from being part of this structured program. It will assist Rookies to meet their 200m pre-requisite time and future bronze course, Pool Champs training and all members/parents for Summer/Winter Competition and general fitness.

Seniors will benefit from this program, focusing on both, technique and fitness training. Ideal for Lifeguards, Pool Champs training, Bronze Course Candidates and any member or supporter for cross training and general fitness.

Payment for Swim Squad is $125 per person per term.
The term payment allows the member to attend one or all sessions offered.
