About the charity

Resident at one of our care homes smiling with a staff memberLeonard Cheshire Disability is the UK’s leading charity supporting disabled people.

Every year, we support thousands of people in the UK and around the world with physical and learning disabilities to fulfil their potential and live the lives they choose.

8 out of 10 disabled people were not born with their disability.

Many have become disabled after an accident, or from a stroke, cancer or developing conditions like multiple sclerosis or motor neurone disease. These life-changing circumstances can stop people in their tracks.

Your fundraising will make sure that they can live a full life again, and achieve their dreams.
