This LAQ Introduction to Officials Workshop (IOW) is ideal for parents / guardians or athletes looking for a solid introduction to officiating (helping out) at Centre meets or Regional competitions.  These can also be a lead-in to gaining AAOES Level 1 accreditation.  If you are considering participating in this session, you may like to start your pathway by participating in the online Australian Sports Commission Course, Level 0, it’s a great way to start.  Use this link.

Also on offer are Athlete Skill Sessions for children of IOW participants.  These sessions will be more suitable for U9 - U17 athletes. 

These sessions are offered free of charge and is not Region or Centre member restricted. 

• Time Allowed:         Will conclude within 2 - 3 hours
  
  
• Components:          Practical demonstrations and theory discussions
                               Event areas will be Track, Jumps and Throws.

• Online Courses:      Anyone interested in gaining or updating accreditation
                               will be directed to access the AAOES online courses
                               through the LAQ Officials webpage.
