Archery Australia Coaches Course Level 1

Location: Archery WA Centre, 111a Jules Stiener Memorial Drive, Whiteman

Cost: $120 per person limited spaces available

Start time: arrive 8.30am , Start 9 am to 4pm

IMPORTANT: COURSE PRE-REQUISITES

• Level 1 Coaching Course Entry PrerequisitesCourse NamePre-requisitesLevel 1 Participation coach
• Minimum 16 years of age at completion
• Must have been an Archery Australia member for a minimum of 12 months
• Completion of Archery Australia online pre-learning modules
• Have assisted in a minimum of 2 ‘Come N Try’ sessions
• WA Working with Children Check (Needed before accreditation will be given)

Advisable but not compulsory:

• Completion of Sport Australia essential skills course (replaces general principals)
• First Aid
• Play by The Rules Inclusive coaching course (Sport Integrity Australia)

COURSE LENGTH: 1 days in-person, plus pre-learning modules online

Pre-Course Work
Reading and Online Examination: approximately 4 Hours

All participants are required to read information related to the course modules prior to attending the Level 1 Course. This will be provided to each participant once registered.

Teaching Hours
Approx 6 - 8 Hours + online courses
Delivered in person at the Archery WA Centre
