NON ARCHERY AUSTRALIA CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRIES:

Visitors and World Archery affiliated members are eligible to enter into Archery

Australia categories and Archery Australia rules will apply.

 

DIVISIONS:

Compound, Recurve, Barebow Recurve

 

TEAMS:

Only the top 32 teams will compete in matchplay.

 

Each archer may only be a member of one single gender team, and one mixed gender team. 

Male Compound Team - 3 male competitors
Female Compound Team - 3 female competitors
Mixed Compound Team - 2 competitors, 1 male & 1 female

Male Recurve Team - 3 male competitors
Female Recurve Team - 3 female competitors
Mixed Recurve Team - 2 competitors, 1 male & 1 female

Male Barebow Recurve Team - 3 male competitors
Female Barebow Recurve Team - 3 female competitors
Mixed Barebow Recurve Team - 2 competitors, 1 male & 1 female

Please ensure that the archers you enter into a team have already entered the WA720 Matchplay event.
Please ensure that the archers AA number is correct as this will be used to confirm team data and if incorrect it may mean your team is invalid.
Non AA team members should use the AA number 'NA'.

Before adding a team please check the 'Confirmed Teams' tab and confirm that the team name you want hasn't already been taken.
Please, no inappropriate team names.

Any changes to team members can be made up until 15th Sept 2023 by emailing to nationals@archerysqas.org.au
No changes to team names or members will be accepted after 15th Sept 2023.

CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS:

Archery Australia Championships medals will be awarded to the winning teams in each category.
For non Archery Australia Teams an Archery Australia Visitors medal will be awarded.

 

Presentation of medals will be conducted at the conclusion of shooting the round.

 

DRESS REGULATIONS:

In order to present the best possible image for our sport, to our sponsors and to the general public, Archery Australia Rule 7.11, Dress Regulations, will be enforced. No apparel depicting hunting type imagery or camouflage. No activewear. No boardshorts.

NOTES:

Registration is essential and teams will not be accepted after the closing date.

 

Please remember to slip, slop, slap, and use insect repellent before shooting, and drink plenty of water during the event.

This tournament will be shot under World Archery, Archery Australia and SQAS rules and policies.

 

Covid 19 precautions will be required to be followed.

 

Please advise the organisers if you have any issues with photos being taken by the official photographer.

 

Competitors are to ensure that you bring your current AA membership card with you as you may not participate without proof of current membership.

 

Lunch and refreshments will be available for purchase on each day of the event. There are several take-away outlets a short drive away in Samford Village.
