2023 National/State Indoor - Sawtell Archers

2023 National and State Indoor Championships

PLEASE read this entire page carefully before registering.All archers will shoot the event over 2 days.

Saturday 8th July - Double Australian Indoor Round 18m (Vegas style)
Sunday 9th July - Single World Archery Indoor 18m round

Bow Types: Recurve, Longbow, Barebow Recurve, Compound, Barebow Compound
Divisions and Classes: All age divisions and classes including Para. 


Location:

Sherwood Archery / 1 Lawson Cresent / Coffs Harbour

Sessions:

Each entrant will be required to select their preference for either the morning or afternoon session.  

Please note: the number of entries is capped at 21 for each session. Note: Due to clubs VI Archer taking 4 lane spaces, space will be restricted.  

Session 1 Day 1:

  • Registration / Equipment Inspection from 12.00pm
  • Practice starts at 12.30pm (Minimum of 20 minutes)
  • Competition starts immediately following practice (1.00pm)
  • 10 minute break after 30 arrows

Session 2 Day 1:

  • Registration / Equipent Inspection from 4.00pm
  • Practice starts at 4.30pm (Minimum of 20 minutes)
  • Competition starts immediately following practice (5.00pm) if numbers permit
  • 10 minute break after 30 arrows

Session 1 Day 2:

  • Registration from 7.30am
  • Practice starts at 8.00am (Minimum of 20 minutes)
  • Competition starts immediately following practice (8.30am)
  • 10 minute break after 30 arrows

Session 2 Day 2:

  • Registration from 12.00pm
  • Practice starts at 12.30pm (Minimum of 20 minutes)
  • Competition starts immediately following practice (1.00pm) if number permit
  • 10 minute break after 30 arrows

Saturday 8th July: Double Australian Indoor Round 18m (Vegas Style). 

The Double Australian Indoor Round 18m vegas sytyle will be conducted under Archery Australia Rules

Two rounds x 30 arrows each with a 10 minute break between
Archers must nominate the target face required on entry form: 3 spot triangle or 40cm single
The X-ring will be used for countbacks.

Sunday 9th July: Single World Archery Indoor 18m round

Single World Archery Indoor 18m round

One round x 60 arrows, with a 10 minute break after 30 arrows
Archers must nominate the target face required on entry form: 3 spot vertical or 40cm single

The entire event is required to be shot in details (AB/CD-CD/AB, etc) - if unclear, refer to World Archery Rules 13.1 for the procedure.

Scoring: 

Both paper scoring and electronic scoring using Archers Diary will be required for this event.  Archers are responsible for ensuring your scores are entered into Archers Diary and that they match the paper score sheets.  Score sheets must be submitted to the Organising Committee within 30 minutes of the end of a flight or the score sheet will not be accepted.

 Entry Fee:

Adults    - $70 
Minors    - $55   (Under 18)
The entry fee has been subsidised by Archery NSW to the amount of  $10 per archer. 

 Non-AA/ASNSW Members

Archery Alliance members and non-Archery Australia members may enter as a visitor. They can only enter Archery Australia categories and Archery Australia rules will apply. No AA or ASNSW medals will be awarded to a visitor, but an ASNSW visitor medal will be awarded.

If the event is over-subscribed priority will be given to AA/ASNSW members.

 Note:

There is limited space at the venue.  Entries accepted on first come first served basis. Don't leave it until the last day to register as you may miss out!

Closing Date for entries is 11:59pm Monday 17 th June 2023 or when all spaces are allocated. 

Due to the limited numbers, archers are requested to enter in one division only.  If the event is not fully subscribed, it will be opened up for second registrations a few days prior to closing.  Eg. A Cadet archer wishing to shot both Cadet and Open divisions.
