Ryde Rollercoaster Run
The inaugural Ryde Rollercoaster Run will be an exciting new community event focussed on 'fun, family and fitness!' Communities for Communities are committed to putting on a high quality running event for runners of all abilities and has engaged the support of Athletics NSW in organising this evnet. Take on the Rollercoaster which features an out and back road circuit through the hills of Putney. Whether you run, walk or dance the course in a Gorilla suit you will be making a difference to your community!
Date: Sunday 11th November 2013
Location: Bennelong Park, Waterview St, Putney NSW, 2112
Course: A rolling out and back loop from Bennelong Park along Princes St and turning at Victoria Rd. The course will be entirely closed to traffic!
3.2km (2mile) individual race: 8:00am
Roller Relay 4x800m: 8:50am
Free kids novelty events and warm down sessions will also be running in the park.
Eligbility: All abilities are welcome, the course is also wheelchair and pram friendly!
Online entry fees (until thursday 7th November):
Adult 3.2km: $25
Under 12 3.2km: $10
Family entry (2 adults, up to 3 children): $50
Family entry (2 adults, up to 3 children): $50
Roller-Relay team: $50
On the day entry fees (from 6:30am, Sunday 10th Nov)
