Type of Event: Oceania Championships.

Description of Round(s) 

WA 720 Rounds: 

Para Open Compound - 50m (80cm, 6 ring), 

Para Open Recurve - 70m (122cm), 

Para W1 (Rec/Comp) - 50m with a 80cm 10 ring face,  

VI 1, VI 2/3 - 30m (80cm).

Special Conditions

This event is an ONLINE ENTRY event! Applicants paying by other than online will only be processed after their payment has been cleared.

• A minimum of a National Classification is required to compete at this event. Classifications will be available on Friday 1^st April upon lodgement of the appropriate Classification Forms.

• ALL classifications must have the correct ‘documentation’ as per World Para Archery Rules & Regulations.  Paperwork covering your specific classification must be carried at all times – you will be asked to present this during the competition.

• ALL vision impaired classifications MUST be completed on the appropriate form.  The completed form or an international classification from World Para Archery is to be forwarded to: amaxworthy@archery.org.au at least one week before the start of the championships.                       

  Membership Cards will need to be presented at registration.

  Scoring:

  A combination of electronic scoring and paper scoring will be used for this event.

  Please bring a smart phone with iscored.today bookmarked & be familiar with it's use.

Special Needs

Please be aware that Waverley City Archers may not provide any food specific to dietary needs.

Participants are informed that they may need to bring their own lunch and snacks if they have dietary issues.

Online entries close midnight Friday 18^th March 2022 or before if the maximum of 32 entries is reached.

Medals

Medals will be awarded in accordance with Archery Australia and/or World Para Archery Rules, after Match Play.

From 9.00am – Classifications if required. 

Unofficial practice, BYO Lunch.

12noon – 1pm – FIELD CLOSED – SITE INSPECTION. 

1.00pm to 4.30pm - Registration for the whole championship & Official Equipment Check. 

Archers practicing need to register in Archers Diary. 

Note: everyone must sign in & scan the QR code every day.

Arrival: 08.00am

09.00am Opening Ceremony

9.30 am approx. – Official Practice,

9.50am approx. – Beginning of Ranking 720 Rounds.

12 noon approx. – Lunch after completion of Ranking Round & scores handed in.

1pm approx. – Official Practice.

1.20pm approx. Match Play begins.

Following completion of Match Play & scoresheets handed in:

Afternoon Tea, Results displayed/published & Medal Presentations.

 Note: Daylight Saving finishes @ 2am on Sunday 3^rd April.

Important Note:  There is a limit of 16 targets and maximum of 32 archers. Targets will be available for each of the WA 720 rounds with places allocated for both Australian and Overseas entrants. Organisers reserve the right to re-allocated targets after the 1st of March if particular categories are not filled.
