Archery Certificate Course (Fast Track)

This course is available by invitation to persons aged 11 years or over

who have recently completed the Mount Petrie Bowmen Come & Try Course.

What to Wear and Bring:

• your own water and snacks, if you prefer. We have a water bubbler and we sell water in our canteen
• enclosed flat footwear. You will not be permitted to shoot wearing thongs or open sandals
• be comfortably dressed with no loose clothing
• long hair tied back so it doesn’t get in the way of the bow string
• no long dangling jewellery or hoop earrings

About the Course

This is a 'by invitation' opportunity for persons who have recently completed the MPB Come & Try Course and who have expressed interest in completing the requirements of the MPB Archery Certificate Course.  Successful completion of this session will enable you to join Mount Petrie Bowmen.

We need you to be there by 12.30pm so we can start and finish on time.

If you already own your own archery equipment you will not be able to use it on the course.

On successful completion of the course you will receive a certificate that will be recognised by other Archery Australia affiliated clubs, at their discretion. Sometimes we are unable to issue a certificate, often for young children, if a participant hasn't been able to demonstrate an ability to consistently reach the target at 18m in a safe manner.

How to Register

Please note you may not register another person who has not previously completed the MPB Come & Try Course.

Choose the “Click Here to Register” button at the top of the page. You may register more than one participant before submitting payment. After entering the details of the first person, choose the “Register Another Person” button and add the new person’s details. Once all the entry details are correct choose the “Submit Now & Pay Online” button.

Cancellations / Refunds

Cancellations are accepted up to three days before the course, however an administration charge will apply.  To cancel, email courses@brisbanearchery.org.au  As this is a one-off 'invitation only' offer, please note that provisions in our Refund Policy to substitute another participant or roll-over your registration to a later date, will not apply.
